I really love when you lovely ladies post photographs of all the beautiful Tea Rooms that you hunt out and visit! I finally went to visit one it Southampton today, I've been dying to go in there since I saw it! I went with Amber, after a VERY stressful morning of filming and it was amazing! Everything was just cute, cute, cute! From the presentation of the drinks, to the cute menu boards on the walls to the little kitsch items dotted around! I just wish I had taken a few more photographs - oh well! I'll just have to visit it again!

Big Mystery Skincare Revolution
I'm not sure how many people have heard about this, but at the moment there's a Big Mystery Skincare Revolution drifting around. I found this on Facebook quite a while ago, but have actually only just got round to testing the product!

HAUL
I've been a bit behind on keeping you updated on what I've been up to, I know, I'm a bad blogger! But I thought I'd give you an update on the bits and pieces I've been buying over the last couple of weeks!

Beauty UK - Waterproof Mascara No.1 - Black
Beauty UK is never a brand I've ever paid any attention to really, I've seen them a couple of times at the clothes show and maybe as I've walked through shops, but that's it. They seem to be another cheap make-up provider, selling their products on their website, in Superdrug, International and finally Select, which is where I picked up this mascara.
Weekend in pictures
Chris brought me two flashing rubber ducks so cute, my amazing little plaque that I brought - never a truer word spoken in my book, on Sunday night Chris decided to rearrange my how house - my beloved contents of my dressing table everywhere, Chris' parents visited = lots of home baking (recipes for Chocolate Brownies and Lemon Drizzle Cake to come), the new Cadbury's bubbly chocolate - no different to a normal bar but looks pretty!
My first MUA disappointment
So I hoped this day would never come, but it has! Ha, so dramatic!
I brought this MUA mascara when I brought loads of stuff at Christmas, it's available at Superdrug and MUA online for £2. The only description given is;
"Extreme Volume Mascara magnifies lashes for a spectacular false- lash effect."

MUA Bronzer
So in my latest Superdrug trip some of you will know I went on a little MUA haul! I'm starting to fall in love with everything they make!

MUA 3 in 1 eXtreme contour liner
When I nipped to Superdrug on Tuesday for my MUA haul, they had a deal on, where if you brought anything from the MUA range you got this, 3 in 1 Angled shadow liner for free. I'm not a big eye liner girl to be honest, I haven't worn it for a long, long time. But I do love a freebie!
Valentines Day gifts
Despite my love for Valentine's Day, one thing I do hate is that there is nothing around for men AT ALL. All the websites you go on are completely naff for gifts for men, I mean, Debenhams whole "Gifts for Men" list was ski pants? How is that even relevant!? I suppose it's because it's a day for women to fuss over, not the other way round, but still it's annoying. Luckily Chris really doesn't care about Valentine's Day, he's pretty happy with some home cooked steak and chips! Anyway, all this hopeless searching means I've pretty much seen every gift out for women this Valentine's, so thought I'd share with you some of my favourite bits and pieces - as sad as it might be! They are all super cheap too, well except the hot chocolate set ;)! Hope you lovely ladies get something cute!

Long distance relationships
Me and Chris, Bournemouth, one year together
The topic was drawn to my attention when Jade wrote abeautiful post about her long-distance relationship. It really got me thinking about my relationship and how lucky I am to have Chris near.

HAUL | Homeware
So I spent my Tuesday afternoon and the last day of January 2012, home ware shopping, so for all you lovely ladies who follow for my home ware purchases, I thought I'd share with you all! On another note, January is officially over so I had no excuses left to leave my Birthday cards up! They all came down yesterday, sigh!
Colander £2.50 & baking tray £1 - Tesco |
Yes I know, how boring, but I did genuinely have to buy these. Chris cooked sausage rolls on my baking tray and they all got stuck and my tray was ruined! Typical men, I should never have let him in the kitchen in the first place!
Shampoo money saving tip!
So I have always used John Frieda's brunette shampoo for my hair, my hair absolutely loves it and no matter what I try, no other shampoos get along with my hair, it seems to be very particular! It's absolutely fantastic, specially formulated for Brunette locks, designed to bring out the rich deep browns naturally in your hair. The problem is that it's mega expensive and it's only getting worse, it's not on offer as much as it used to be and it's a whopping £5 per tube for a minuscule 250ml!
Lately I've been using this, VO5 shampoo, but certainly not as a replacement! My contact hours at Uni are getting less and less and I'm spending a lot more time at home. It seems so pointless spending all that money on shampoo when I'm not going anywhere! I can't stand having greasy hair though, if there's anything to curb your workflow it's feeling disgusting, so I've been using this shampoo whilst I'm staying in the house!
Personally I think it's genius! Haha! The last two times I've brought a bottle it's only been a quid, it's amazing! It's by no means a perfect shampoo, but it's certainly pretty damn good for a quid! Plus I can save my expensive shampoo and save my pennies in the process!
Do you any of you lovely ladies have a money saving tip?
