Todays NOTD is possibly one I've done before so I'll whizz through this quickly! This one is called Glove You So Much, which I think is mega cute! It's a lovely deep red colour!

I finally got my hands on a Revlon Lip Butter, I hear you cry, "another Revlon review" - yes another Revlon review, but I won't bang on about them for hours, we all know how good they are right?

When my hair-dryer recently went bang I obviously needed to get a new one. I really loved my old Remington one, it was lightweight and did the job, but I only brought it two years ago, which I think is pretty crap for a hairdryer!

Todays NOTD is another OPI shade in Glow Me Up Already!

It's such a strong solid giltter shade which I love! I love glitter polishes that you can paint on with out a base! Amazing quality! Unfortunately this was a swap and it had gone gloopy, which I think is obvious by the pictures, other bottles would have a much better finish!

Glow Up Already retails at £10.50.

I briefly mentioned in my Glossybox review that I had been looking for a decent pair of tweezers. Unfortunately the meaning of decent tweezers in this world is closely followed by an expensive price tag!

Naturally I’m quite disappointed that I didn’t receive the Glossybox everyone is raving about which contained the HD Brows set, I’m a bit gutted about this, but it’s just luck of the draw I suppose!

Don't forget that my Beaut Boutique Giveaway is open until the weekend!

I'm a bit late to the Sleek bandwagon, I'm not sure why, I've just never got round to placing an order, but recently I had a little Superdrug haul and could not resist any longer.

Todays NOTD is OPI Barefoot in Barcelona!

Firstly I LOVE the name of this, well I love the name of all the polishes OPI make, but it's a lovely name for a nude! You really can't beat a nude some days and this is stunning!

As I mentioned in my Beaut Boutique blog post, I'm hosting a giveaway with a beautiful Beaut Boutique ring as a prize! To enter just follow the instructions below!

Paperchase is not a new brand that I'm featuring, in fact every reader of this blog probably knows how obsessed I am with Paperchase! I recently popped in and brought a few treats for myself which didn't really warrant a whole blog post, but I did think it would be a perfect little post for a "Meet the Brand". So here's a little bit about them, I hope you enjoy reading! I've put my new treats at the bottom of the post!

"Paperchase is the UK’s undisputed leader in innovative, design-led stationery, cards and gift-wrap. We have been around for over 40 years and are now firmly established as the top destination for customers looking for new and different gifts, cards and stationery.

Much of our merchandise is exclusive. We love to innovate so our collections are constantly changing yet all are specified to our high quality requirements. Visit our stores and online and each month you will find new arrivals – so for birthdays, Christmas and Valentine’s Day........indeed, for any occasion or celebration, there will always be new and different ideas to be found.

There are now over 100 Paperchase outlets in the UK as well as stores in Denmark, Ireland, Holland and the Middle East. You can find us in many House of Fraser and Waterstones stores as well as Selfridges and Harrods.

Our new online store launched in September 2010 offering a large selection of our products across all our categories, new collections and firm favourites."

My new treats: I brought myself a pen from the AVA range not too long ago and I absolutely love it, I love having a little pretty pen (as lame as that sounds) just for myself and everyone always compliments it when I lend it out or when they spot me with it! So as I walked past the store recently I thought I'd pop in and treat myself to some new bits and pieces! They are so cute, handy and cheap, these were £1.50 each!

When my Physio said to me that I needed to integrate green tea into my lifestyle, my mind filled with dread! For some strange reason I thought that green tea would be some weird concoction of flowers and spices and things which would taste like perfume? Yes I know I’m weird, luckily I’ve found so far that green tea just tastes like normal tea minus the milk! This could however, be down to the brand of tea I’m drinking.

Green tea is well known for having several health benefits;

Over the last few decades green tea has been subjected to many scientific and medical studies to determine the extent of its long-purported health benefits, with some evidence suggesting that regular green tea drinkers may have a lower risk of developing heart disease and certain types of cancer. Although green tea does not raise the metabolic rate enough to produce immediate weight loss, a green tea extract containing polyphenols and caffeine has been shown to induce thermogenesis and stimulate fat oxidation, boosting the metabolic rate 4% without increasing the heart rate."

On the way home that night I popped into Tesco and stood in front of a huge aisle of green teas with no idea what to pick. There are so many flavours of tea and so many brands, but I just did not know where to start! So I did what I always do and grabbed a box that looked pretty!

I happened to pick up Clippers Pure Green Tea, which was a 50 tea bag box and was super cheap! I think it was on offer, but it was £1.55, which I thought was a bargain! As I mentioned it tastes really nice! To me, it just tastes like normal tea, so for all the health benefits and very little taste difference, I’m all for it! I think I’m going to pick up a box of Twinings green tea, they do a box of five different flavours so you can try them out and see which you like best! So I think I’ll give that a whirl!

What do you think of green tea? Which brands have you tried?

Today's NOTD is this beautiful red by Nails Inc named St Pancras! It's such a beautiful shade! I have such a love hate relationship with red polish, but this one just ticks all my boxes! All Nails Inc shades tend to retail at £11 each, it's no longer available on the website, but it's easily found on Ebay (here for £7.99) and also on Ravens Cosmetics, that love always has the out of stock shades (yay) you can find it there for £6.99 (here).

You may have heard that Barry M have just hit a big milestone and are celebrating by releasing a range of Retro Paints to the high street! "Get back to the 80s with our Retro Collection. Guaranteed to bring out your New Romantic, our brightly coloured nail paints are sure to get you noticed!"

So yes you read that right, I’m six pounds lighter than I was when I announced by new healthy lifestyle. Amazing!

I have to admit I had a rubbish weekend, Chris’ family came down for his Silverstone experience and it was a weekend of unhealthy eating, I was ridiculously emotional and not eating yummy food was making me worse! I even had a cheeky slice of pizza which I hated myself for!

So come Sunday night I was feel pretty rubbish and down in the dumps! I had my salad and figured I’d get on the Wii, do some Wii Fit and then twenty minutes on my exercise bike. If you don’t know, every time you use Wii Fit they ask you to do a body test to track your progress. Chris was on the exercise bike behind me and I turned to him and said (being the optimistic sausage I am) “Oh this will make me feel better – I bet I’ve lost nothing and the miserable weekend has been for nothing”! Stepped on the scales and I was a whopping six pounds lighter! Yippee! Six pounds in 5 days! I’ve never seen results from any diets at all so I am over the moon!

Just proof at the moment to show that, salad, vegetables, no sugar and watching what time you eat your Carbohydrates really does make a difference!

I've been eyeing up a few pieces on Beaut Boutique for quite some time, just waiting for the moment when I had some pennies to spend on something pretty! It came to the point that I could not wait any longer and I just had to treat myself! Ruth is such a lovely girl, she's so sweet and I regulary chat away to her on Twitter! All Ruth's jewellery is handmade and made to perfection! I'm loving my new possessions!

If you want to buy anything from Ruth or want to speak to her, all her information is here;

Now for the pictures! The parcel was very well protected and packed in the most adorable wrapping paper with a lovely note!

Here are the pieces I brought - a beautiful set of elephant earrings which I just had to have, elephants are my new favourite thing! These cost £5 and are available here.

I also fell straight in love with these adorable daisy studs and matching ring! I always buy long earrings with lots of sparkle and jazz so I thought I should add something different! These were £6.75 and available here I also brought the matching ring for £5 available here.

Ruth also kindly sent me this beautiful ring for free which I love! Sadly I'm so picky with rings and I won't wear this as it will be too wide for me, so I think I'll give it away in a giveaway! So keep your eyes peeled!

If you want to treat yourself to anything on Beaut Boutique I reccommend you follow Ruth on Twitter for links and discount codes!

Continuing the theme of nails by 17, here is a completely different shade NOTD!

I love wearing something different and this brown shade called Smokey Marble is definitely not something I normally wear!

Again this polish is £2.99 and available in Boots.

The dreaded No.7 vouchers were back a few weeks ago and instead of spending them all on nail varnishes this time, I fancied trying a few new bits and pieces.

As of yesterday I had to integrate some lifestyle changes, pretty big ones actually, by my standards anyway! I’ve suffered for a long time with knee pain, which is a result of an injury in earlier life, and recently it’s got to the point where I’m in a lot of pain. So after seeing a physio yesterday lunch time, I’ve had to integrate an exercise routine and diet to support my muscles and make them get stronger. On top of this I’ve had to integrate a weight loss diet. I’m fairly overweight at the moment and it’s impacting on my knees and back! I’ve tried this a few times but my knee injuries have stopped me exercising, so now I have a physio, a personal trainer and a dietician to make things happen! I’ve had to cut out any unnatural ingredients and sugars, ditch any cold drinks excluding water and homemade fruit juices and switch to green tea. I’ve had to integrate foods like Dates into my diet and other super foods that are well known for their success rate with weak muscles! I’ve had to change my eating routine, cutting all carbs out of my diet after 2pm and increase my protein intake as well as my green vegetables!  They are possibly things I should have already been doing, but all sorts of things have got in the way, so it’s time to implement them and kick myself out the rut!

Why am I telling you this? Well you lovely ladies know that I love blogging and this will be a big part of my life, so I think I’m going to start a healthy lifestyle section on this blog!  I think there are a lot of blogs about this around but I’m not sure how many around are newbies trying out things for the first time!  Hopefully they’ll be informative to read and if not you’ll probably laugh at my healthy virginity! So I’ll be blogging about my experiences as well as my beauty posts and lifestyle posts!

Today's NOTD is a Nails Inc shade called Prince Albert Road, which I just LOVE! It's so beautiful and shiny and pretty! Sorry about the state of my nails in these pictures! If you look at the finish and results you can see how great it is! Nails Inc polishes are fantastic value!

Sadly I can't find this on their website, so I fear it's been discontinued, eek! BUT I found it on Ravens Cosmetics which I've used in the past and its priced at £8.95! Bargain!
