Back To Basics | Magnitone WipeOut!

There’s no denying that removing makeup is a chore! Whether you opt for the micellar and cotton pad combination or a full double cleanse routine, we’re always looking for a way to make cleansing a little bit simpler! Magnitone (the brand famous for their innovative cleansing brushes) hope to have the answers to our prayers, with their new addition – WipeOut!*

In our household, we have quite an impressive array of MicroFibre cloths. We use them to clean surfaces, cars, televisions – the works! However, I’ve never considered taking one to clean my face and I’m sure I’m not alone! WipeOut! is a new MicroFibre Cleansing Cloth from skincare gurus Magnitone. It’s been designed to removes tough, long-wear and oil-based makeup – with nothing but WARM WATER! I have to admit that it’s a concept that is hard to believe – I wear waterproof eye makeup every day and I’ve never been able to remove it with water alone!

So what’s special about Magnitone WipeOut! and how exactly does it work? Well the Magnitone WipeOut! has special MicroFibres, which when wet, swell up. The swelled fibres are able to grab onto makeup particles, holding onto makeup tightly to effectively remove it from your skin. I have to say that I’m pretty impressed, all traces of makeup were gone, without smearing it around the face and without irritating the skin. As it’s made from MicroFibres, WipeOut! is super-soft, meaning that it’s perfect for sensitive skin and it doesn’t irritate the eyes – goodbye waterproof mascara!

The Magnitone WipeOut! Cleansing Cloth arrives in little clear box, which has a handy sleeve with all the instructions you need. The cloth itself is a pink colour and when you unroll the cloth you’ll quickly notice that it’s double sided. It’s really quite long too – it’s much longer than any of my other face cloths.

Of course, the WipeOut! Cleansing Cloth is reusable, Magnitone say that it can be washed up to 1000 times. You simply chuck it in the washing machine and 30°C to reuse it time and time again. This makes the £14.99 retail price incredibly attractive, especially when you consider that this price is for two different cloths! The WipeOut! Cleansing Cloth has been available since February and it’s already taking the world by storm, check it out online here.

Seven Stunning Spring Scents

I love spritzing a fragrance and being reminded of a happy moment in time. Let's be honest, we've all been there and it's the best feeling. I’ve been in a bit of a fragrance rut recently, so I felt inspired to switch up my fragrance collection and try something new. This is something I do every season, but this time I thought I’d document for you guys! Let’s get stuck in and take a look at the pretty scents that are new to my fragrance line up.

AVON Viva La Vita* (£15 for 50ml)
Let’s start with one of the cheapest scents in this line up, AVON’s Viva La Vita. I love that this arrives in a beautiful understated bottle, which is just finished with some simple lettering. There are two things that finish this bottle for me: the first is the pretty purple hue of the perfume. The second is the pretty moon shape on the lid, which is such a beautiful touch, it’s so elegant! The scent itself is fresh and crisp, it opens with top notes of Pink Apple, Mandarin and Pink Grapefruit. The middle is floral with a blend of Rose Petals, Mimosa Essence and Magnolia. The base is sweet and woody, using notes of Vanilla Bean, Sandalwood and Cashmere wood.

Ariana Grande Sweet Like Candy Red Edition* (£31 for 50ml)
I’m not somebody who hunts down celebrity fragrances but I was really excited to see what this scent from Ariana Grande had to offer. The Sweet Like Candy scent is unsurprisingly one of the sweeter scents in this line up! A big part of me loves the bottle of this, as it’s completely unlike anything else I’ve seen before. The bottle is red and is covered in geometric edges, on the side is a huge red pom pom which is really cute. This scent takes sweet to a new level, with top notes of Juicy Red Berries, Italian Bergamot & Pear (which is one of my all-time favourite notes. The middle is a blend of Jasmine Sambac, Red Frangipani & Dewy Honeysuckle. The bottom is a the usual wood blend (Sensual Musks, Liquid Amber) but with Crème de Cassis and Marshmallow Cashmere Woods added in.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Kiss Eau de Toilette (£53 for 50ml)
The Marc Jacobs Daisy will need no introduction to most beauty fans and I was one of the first in line jumping with excitement for this new release. This 2017 limited edition is designed for women who live for love. The bottle is all kinds of pretty, thanks to the pink ombre bottle which is finished with the stunning array of flowers on the top. Could this perfume be anymore suited to spring if it tried? This fragrance is a casual nod to the Daisy line, which a lift of something more romantic. The opening of the fragrance includes valentine pomelo, apricot nectar and dewy violet. The middle includes osmanthus flower, white peony and pink rose – it ends with cedarwood, ambrox and musk.

Ted Baker Polly Mixtures* (£15 for 10ml)
I’m always looking for my next travel scent, for me it needs to be sweet, potent but a bottle design which is easy to chuck in a travel bag. This beauty from Ted Baked ticks all the boxes! The whole range of Ted Baker’s Sweet Treats fragrances are made for someone with a sweet tooth and they all are available in handy 10ml bottles. Polly Mixtures is beautiful – the top notes include mandarin, red berries and peach (hurrah for the peach), the middle is white jasmine, honeysuckle and peony. The end of the scent is a mixture of amber and vanilla topped off with white musk.

Zara Home Tonka Wood (£29.99 for 100ml)
Until recently I had no idea that Zara Home even existed, so I’m really excited that they do and that they have an impressive array of fragrances. You cannot deny that the packaging of these is both simple and chic – after trying a few of the scents I can confirm that my favourite is Tonka Wood. I absolutely love spritzing this every morning, it’s a very gentle, feminine scent – which has been designed to represent delicate touches. The top notes include Bergamot, Lemon and Blackcurrant, the heart notes include Midnight violet and Lily of the valley, and the base notes include Vetiver, Tonka Bean and Praline Flower. I’m completely sold on this one – swoon!

Roger and Gallet Fleur de Figuier (£40.50 for 100ml)
I have to confess that this one isn’t a new addition, but it wouldn’t be right to do a perfume post without it. It truly deserves the grail status in my collection and I’ve loved it for several years now! This fragrance is relatively new to the perfume scene, as it was only realised a couple of years ago but I literally cannot live without it! As soon as one bottle ends, I buy a new bottle to be shipped straight to me! It’s all about the fig scent and this fragrance is deliciously sweet! The top of the perfume includes Mandarin, Pink Peppercorn and Candied Fig Accord and the middle includes Violet Wood and Fig Pulp – fig central! When the fragrance dies down we are left with a blend of Musk, Patchouli and Moss.

Ghost The Fragrance* (£24 for 30ml)
Ghost is one of those fragrance brands which is absolutely killing it, but I have had very little exposure too! They have an impressive array of scents but in this edit I chose to include Ghost The Fragrance. This one has been designed to be feminine but understated, arriving in a very simple hourglass bottle – made to mirror a women's silhouette. The scent itself is a blend of fresh top notes of Rose and Jasmine, a heart of Amber, Vanilla and Peach, and base notes of Sandalwood and Musk! It doesn’t take a genius to work out that I’m a big pear and peach fan, it appears a lot in this line up!

I would love to hear all about your favourite scents for this time of year in the comments below. I really don’t think I need to add any others to my collection, but I can always be persuaded!

The New Brand Evolution from ESPA

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you’ll know that I’m a big fan of ESPA and they get a lot of time and attention from me. Their iconic white and purple packaging has been a strong staple in my bathroom for longer than I can remember. The brand was first created 25 years ago, when Sue Harmsworth really turned the spa game on its head, introducing the spa skincare brand.

Sue Harmsworth had the vision of creating a brand which followed a truly holistic approach. She strongly linked beauty, with wellness – which although today is really frequent, back then it was something more revolutionary. ESPA wanted to be able to transform the skin, using lovely blends of powerful, natural ingredients. Not only was the brand natural, it was also cutting-edge, combining technology, skincare experts and lovely ingredients to make every product. The combination of ingredients include everything from plant and marine extracts with essential oils – creating a stunning spa journey.

As I mentioned earlier, here in 2017 ESPA’s wellness heritage is more relevant than it’s ever been. We all live stress-filled, fast paced, frantic lives, which at times, outpaces anything we can fix with skincare. We are always connected and having to fight up more environmental aggressors than ever. With that in mind, ESPA decided to give the brand a little bit of a facelift, creating packaging to match the advanced formulations ESPA’s products.

The classic purple and white packaging has been replaced with a line which I am totally in love with. The new line is well in tune with 2017, with simple typography, pretty quotes and colour themes which matches the spa environment effortlessly. They’ve even colour coded the products to help the consumer understand the line and navigate the products, which I truly thinks all the difference.

All-in-all, this ESPA evolution has taken ESPA’s founding philosophy and repurposed it for the modern day. It’s all about beautiful skin, inner peace and a calm mentality. ESPA founder Sue Harmsworth, noted that it’s time to look after number one stating:  “We’ve spent the last decade focusing on looking after our bodies. We’ll spend the next decade looking after our minds.” I think it’s a truly lovely change from ESPA, which is going to have beauty fans feeling weak at the knees. It’s a perfect excuse to update your skincare collection and perhaps try ESPA for the first time! Check out the full range on the ESPA website here

Tropic Heat | The Limited Edition Capsule Collection From KIKO

This year, KIKO MILANO is celebrating their 20th anniversary. To celebrate their anniversary they have joined forces with seven international brands, which have been created by young and up-and-coming designers. The seven capsule collections will be released over the coming months and it’s already time for the second collection – hurrah! The second capsule collection is called Tropic Heat, which is a lovely collaboration with the founders of Leitmotiv, Juan Caro and Fabio Sasso.

This collection screams summer and Leitmotiv’s eclectic style shines through in the products. It’s an incredibly fun and playful collection and is something completely different to the first capsule collection. This time the packaging is all about floral and fruity decorations, with every box boasting a beautiful sky blue colour. On top of the blue box there are lovely floral illustrations and each box is finished with some metallic lettering.

The fruity feel to the packaging follows through into the products, with many of the products being inspired and named after fruit. Some of the products are even lightly scented, which I normally don’t like, but the scents on these beauties is so well executed! The thought behind this collection is to make a comfortable, lightweight line of makeup, but with colours and finishes that are vivacious and intense. Let’s take a closer look at the products in the collection…

KIKO Milano Tropic Heat Prime & Fix Water*
I’m really excited about this Prime and Fix Water (£7.90 here) as I really don’t use enough primers and fixers in my makeup routine. This has been designed to be a refreshing spray, which gives you a little bit of a boost thanks to the scent. There are three in the lineup, which each have different scents: 01 Red Fruits, 02 Green Fruits and 03 Passion Fruit and Coconut Milk. You simply spritz this on your face as either a primer or to set make-up and it leaves your skin looking radiant.

KIKO Milano Tropic Heat Flavoured Lips & Cheeks*
I’ve seen a lot of these stick blushers in my time, but I like that this one is a little bit different. When twist up Flavoured Lips & Cheeks (£7.90 here), it looks like it is going to be heavily pigmented. In fact, it’s actually a quite a light pigmentation, with quite a glossy finish. It’s such a lovely product as it dissolves on to the skin, leaving you with a glowing blusher look. The glossy finish lends itself really well to the lips too, which makes it a real handbag hero product! The formula is enriched with loads of natural oils, but they are also scented! I have shade 02 Sweety Mauve, which smells like peach – HEAVENLY!

KIKO Milano Tropic Heat Dewy Stick*
These kinds of dewy sticks are everywhere right now, so it is no surprise that KIKO have joined the party too! The Dewy Stick (£7.90 here) is exactly what it says on the tin – a wet effect stick, which you just apply anywhere you want a plump wet-look on the skin. It has absolutely no colour to it, so you can literally apply it over any colour you like! There’s not much more to say about this, but I know that a lot of beauty fans are going to be excited to see something like this on the high street! Hurrah!

KIKO Milano Tropic Heat Highlighter*
We all know I’m some kind of highlighter obsessive, so I’ll save you the speech this time round! When I saw the Tropic Heat Highlighter (£6.90 here) in the little pot I thought it was a liquid. However, it’s actually what KIKO describe as a ‘memory gel’ – so when you touch it, it feels a bit more like a jelly mousse. The memory formula is really lightweight and cooling on the skin. When you blend it onto the cheekbones it gives you a very natural glow. There are two shades in this collection, I have Natural Gold which is a lovely golden glow.

KIKO Milano Tropic Heat Eye Marker*
I think we’re all used to swatching eyeliners and finding jet black colours inside. However, I can safely say I’ve never swatched a pastel green shade – yes pastel green! The Eye Markers (£5.90 each here) in this collection include some pastel shades, which is perfect for festival season! The eyeliner actually is dual purpose, as you can pull out the applicator to reverse it for an alternative tip. The colour is very pigmented and it glides onto the eye area effortlessly! There are four matte shades available, mine is Healthy Green, but there is also a White, Sky Blue and Black shade.

KIKO Milano Tropic Heat Nail Lacquer*
I’m a big fan of KIKO’s nail polishes, so I was excited to see some more Nail Lacquers (£3.90 each here) in this collection. There are three different shades which are enriched with coconut, vanilla or kiwi extracts - depending on the which colour you pick! The colours are all perfect for this time of year and they even have a lovely fragrance. The three shades include 01 Flawless Grapefruit, 02 Tropical Strawberry (the one I have here) and 03 Juicy Purple.

KIKO Milano Tropic Heat Face Brush*
Last but not least, we have the Face Brush (£10.90 here), which is finished in the most pretty print matching the box it comes in. The brush has synthetic bristles and they are some the softest bristles I’ve ever felt! I love that it’s a great all-rounder, meaning you can use it to apply powder, blush, bronzer – the opportunities are endless.

This stunning collection is available now and it really won’t be around for long. If you want to get your hands on these products, don’t hang around…

New Everyday Gentle Line from Charles Worthington

There are plenty of people in this world, who sadly must wash their wash every single day. Washing your hair daily often results in dry hair, which is prone to breakages, or coloured hair that fades very fast. Sadly, for many it’s completely unavoidable – either due to having fine hair, an oily scalp, or even daily exercise – which means many people have just come to accept the daily toll on the hair. If this story rings true for you, you’ll want to know all about the fabulous new range from Charles Worthington, which is set to solve all your woes!

The Everyday Gentle range has a mild cleansing solution, which has been specifically created for daily washers. There are three items in the lineup: the world’s first Micellar Shampoo*, the Weightless Conditioner* and the Protective Detangling Mist*, which create the dynamic trio you need in your life! Let’s start with the exciting world’s first – the Micellar Shampoo! Charles Worthington say that this new innovative shampoo works like a magnet for impurities, pollution and grease. It effectively removes all three from your hair, without stripping it of moisture, or weighing it down. If you have coloured hair you can rejoice, as the new formula has been made with effective cleansing agents, which protect the colour and leave it looking vibrant! It’s even been created without sulphates, silicones and parabens – so it’s free of all nasties.

Once you’ve cleansed your hair with the stunning Micellar Shampoo, the last thing you want to use is a heavy greasy conditioner. Which is why Charles Worthington created the Everyday Gentle Weightless Conditioner – which is weightless by name and weightless by nature! It’s been made to cleanse from the roots to the tips, without weighing down the hair. It even makes use of hydrolysed Lupine Seed extract, which specifically targets the damaged parts of hair, rather than coating the whole hair.

Both the Micellar Shampoo and the Weightless Conditioner smell absolutely gorgeous! The uplifting fragrances of sweet fig and juicy mandarin, are mixed with some woody and musky notes, which is just the perfect way to start any morning shower! They even use Charles Worthington’s Fragrance Lock Technology, which means the scent really lingers on the hair all day long!

Finally we have the Everyday Gentle Protective Detangling Mist, which I can already tell is going to be a godsend for a lot of people (even if you don’t wash your hair every day)! The mist aims to lubricate the hair, which in turn reduces friction between hair shafts and brushes, resulting in less breakages. It’s a fantastic formula which you can use on both wet and dry hair – it’s even been proven to reduce breakage by 82%. It even gives you 230 degrees of thermal heat protection, so it’s perfect for using if you’re someone who uses a lot of heat on your hair!

The good news is that the Charles Worthington Everyday Gentle range is available right now! The Micellar Shampoo, Weightless Conditioner and Protective Detangling Mist all retail at £5.99 each, you can grab them from Boots stores and the Boots website!

Brand Focus | BIODERMA

BIODERMA have been in the skincare game since the 1970’s, happily using their team of experts to place biology at the service of dermatology. The BIODERMA team try their best to bring a scientific approach to skincare, using all their knowledge about the biology of skin to make a real difference. I think most people will be familiar with the BIODERMA micellar water (more on that later) but have you heard about the HUGE range of skincare that sits alongside?

In fact, the BIODERMA skincare line is split into a whopping eight different categories. There is: SENSIBIO (for sensitive skin), HYDRABIO (for dehydrated sensitive skin), ATODERM (for very dry and atopic sensitive skin), SÉBIUM (for oily and blemished skin), NODÉ (for the hair and scalp), PHOTODERM (to protect us from the sun), WHITE OBJECTIVE (lightening products for sensitive skin) and CICABIO (for damaged skin). Every single product has been created especially for the category in mind and it goes through a rigorous process to get ready for the market. The BIODERMA 8 principles are put in place to ensure the best quality ingredients hit the shelves. I knew very little about BIODERMA, so their PR team was kind enough to send me three products to try out for myself!

Let’s start for with the famous product in the pack - Sensibio H2O* - well known as the BIODERMA micellar water. One bottle of Sensibio H20 is sold every three seconds and it’s loved by so many people, all around the globe. Micellar water is well known in the blogger world now, with so many brands getting in on the action – but BIODERMA were one of the first in the game. It’s an incredibly gentle cleanser – designed to remove makeup from even the most sensitive skin.  The BIODERMA micellar water contains “micelles”, which are very similar to the skin’s composition, giving it a pure formula with a unique physiological pH – practically speaking, it’s made to suit all types of skin. Simply soak a cotton pad with Sensibio H2O and then use it all over the face and eyes, to cleanse or remove makeup. The great thing about this is that it’s available in three different sizes: 100ml, 250ml and 500ml.

Next up we have the Hydrabio Mask*, which is a must have for skin that needs intense, durable hydration. The mask is centered around BIODERMA’s patented Aquagenium biological complex – which provides the skin with deep-down, long-lasting moisture. BIODERMA say that even during periods of extreme dehydration, the gentle formula allows the skin to regain comfort, softness, suppleness and radiance. This mask is one of my favourites to use after a long day at work – you simply apply a thick layer of the mask to clean skin. You leave it on the skin for just 10 minutes before removing excess with a cotton pad or massaging it into the skin. The best part is the that the BIODERMA Hydrabio Mask comes in a generous 75ml bottle and is priced at £15, so it doesn’t break the bank!

Last but not least we have the Pore Refiner* which is part of the SEBIUM line for oily skin. I have to admit that I’m not somebody who is obsessed with my pores, half the time I don’t even know what I’m looking for! However, I loved the whole concept of this product and I wanted to give this a go! We all know that the world takes its toll on our skin and excess sebum, stress, tobacco, pollution all cause our pores to become dilated. BIODERMA created the Pore Refiner to correct the skins appearance, helping our skin to become more regular and clearer, with our pores looking tightened and less visible. It uses another BIODERMA patented technology called Fluidactiv, which regulates sebum quality, which keeps pores from becoming clogged and limits the formation of blemishes. I just use this on my skin in the morning every day of the week, I apply it on my skin before my moisturiser. As my skin is quite oily, I use this all over my face, but if you’re less oily, you can restrict it to your t-zone!

I’ve really enjoyed testing out these lovely products from BIODERMA – whilst BIODERMA isn’t new to my world, I had no idea they had such a strong lineup of products! I thought it started and ended with the micellar water and wipes! Next on my list is their suncare products, with a lot of time in the sun coming my way, I’m excited to learn more about how their products can leave my skin feeling! You can learn more about BIODERMA on their handy website, which has a wealth of information!

Treating my nails to Renunail Nourishing Oil

Beauty fans would probably be shocked that until March I’d gone a full 25 years, without having a manicure. It’s unlocked a whole new world of pampering to me, one I’m shocked that I’d never become obsessed with before. What I found most interesting was the state of cuticles – whilst I always knew they were a bit neglected, I never knew quite how much! The manicurist remarked that my cuticles were in dehydrated mode and desperately needed a little bit of TLC! This was all news to me, as I had never considered my hands or cuticles to be dry at all!

Another thing I learnt in my first manicure is that a manicure is more than just slapping on some nail polish. I was so used to my full routine consisting of a base coat, two thick coats of polish and a strong top coat – job done. I always wondered why my manicure never lasted the distance – I quickly learned that a big part of a successful manicure is all in the prep. Long story short, I figured it was time to take my nail care regime a little more seriously, with the aim of ditching my bi-daily paint job and opting for something a little more long-lasting.

With my manicure mission kick-started and my dry cuticles still a problem, this is why I jumped at the chance to try the Renunail Nourishing Oil*. I can’t believe that I spend so much money on makeup and nail polish, but a simple nail oil had never been part of my beauty routine. The Dr LeWinns Renunail Nourishing Oil is such a lovely place to start – the ingredients feature a unique blend of herbal extracts and oils of jojoba, olive, apricot and sweet almond.

I’ve been using the Dr LeWinns Renunail Nourishing Oil for the last couple of weeks. It arrives in a nail polish style bottle, so you can simply paint the oil onto the cuticle and massaging it in for perfect nail health. It absorbs into the skin pretty quickly too, which I was really pleased about! I always paint my nails in the evening, so there would be nothing worse than this lingering on the skin and damaging my sofa!

I’m sure all you beauty buffs are well aquainted with nail oils, but if you’ve never tried one, let me tell you that they are life changing! My cuticles have moved leaps and bounds since I added this to my routine and I’m super chuffed! You can pick up Dr LeWinns Renunail Nourishing Oil from Tesco stores, which is really handy. The best part is that it costs merely a drop in the ocean, priced at £11 and one bottle is going to last you ages!

DECIEM Launch New Brands at QVC | Join Them Tuesday 6PM

I’m quite fussy about the deals I promote on Hope, Freedom, Love – as I truly want them to be something that is giving you a real substantial saving. I also want it to be a brand that won’t let you down – there is nothing worse than impulse buying something that will later turn out to be a real disappointment. Which I why when DECIEM got in touch about their upcoming QVC show, I jumped in line to bring you the details.

My very own brand-crush will be taking to the QVC stage this Tuesday to launch NEW brands to QVC and to bring you tons of awesome offers. DECIEM are a huge umbrella brand which is home to some of my favourite ever brands: NIOD, Hylamide, The Ordinary, Hand Chemistry and of course, Stemm. DECIEM showcased on QVC earlier this year with NIOD, but this time they’ve brought the whole gang. Let’s get the low down…

If you missed the incredible NIOD TSV deal at QVC in February (which is highly possible, as it rarely stays in stock), you’ll be pleased to know it’s back again. The NIOD 4 Piece Dermal Science Skincare Set includes: the Copper Amino Isolate Serum (15ml), the Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Complex (30ml), the Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate, (15ml) and the Sanskrit Saponins (90ml). This whole lot would normally set you back £140, but on Tuesday you can get it for £59.88. You can see my full review of the 4 Piece Dermal Science Skincare Set here

As I mentioned earlier, the deals don’t stop with this NIOD set, in fact there are SIX other beautiful deals to get your hands on! The NIOD Flavanone Mud* (50ml) will be available for £24.50, saving you £4.50 and it’s such a clever creation! Not only is the packaging divine, the mud is orange and it delivers some stunning results! The new brand on the block is The Ordinary and they are getting a lot of attention right now! If you fancy testing out the new brand, you can pick up the 5 Piece Anti-Ageing Set* for £33.50. Inside the set you get: Buffet (30ml), Advanced Retinoid 2% (30ml), Lactic Acid 10% (30ml), the Natural Moisturizing Factors (30ml) and the Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG (30ml). It’s truly the perfect anti-ageing starter kit!

If you’d prefer something for your hair, you might want to check out the brand new Stemm 3 Step Hair Thickening Set – which normally would set you back £88, but on Tuesday you can grab it for £51.60! Inside the set you’ll get the Density Stimuli (60ml), the High-Amino Shampoo (480ml) and the Black/Gold Fulvic Conditioner (480ml).

If you’ve read my blog for a long time, you’ll know I’m a big fan of the Chemistry Brand. Which is why I’m in love with the Home & Away Set. Inside you get two bottles of Hand Chemisty – one is 100ml and one is 30ml – literally perfect for your travel bag! You can grab this for £20, which will save you £7! You can also grab yourself a bottle of the Chemistry Brand Hyaluronic Concentrate (240ml) for £24, saving you £4.

Finally we have a double pack from Fountain, which was one of the first ever brands I tried from DECIEM. Their Hyaluronic Molecules are great supplements, which I personally like to mix into my smoothies! Grab the Fountain Hyaluronic Molecule Duo Set, for £37.52, which is a huge saving of £18.75. Inside you get two huge 240ml bottles of the Fountain Hyaluronic Molecule.

Don’t hang around, if you want to get your hands on these deals you need to join the DECIEM experts this Tuesday at 6PM, the show will be live on QVC for your viewing pleasure! The good news is that the show marks the launch of these fabulous brands, so you’ll now be able to get them all year round – hurrah!

Brow Shake Filling Powder from Rimmel London

I absolutely love that the high street is just as innovative as the higher end brands. It means that whatever budget you’re working with, you get to try something new and experiment with the latest trends. I honestly thought I’d seen it all when it came to brow products, but Rimmel London has brought something brand new to the game.

The new Brow Shake Filling Powder from Rimmel London is something completely new. It’s a powder product, which has been packed into applicator style packaging. The Brow Shake Filling Powder arrives in little tubes that look similar to eyeliners. However, instead of liquid inside the tube, there is lots of powder which has been designed for your eyebrows. The applicator is a thin sponge, which is only 1-2 centimetres long and is flexible. This means that the applicator is a bit of a multipurpose product, offering everything from light touches, to strong defined lines. Rimmel say that you simply shake the packaging to disperse the powder inside – then you’re good to go.

It has to be said that like a lot of the beauty community, I expected the powder inside this to be lightly pigmented. However, there is no denying that the powder inside is incredibly pigmented, so you really need a very light hand with this product. I’ve found it works best if you use light, thin strokes to fill the brow – you need to barely touch the hairs to really get a strong brow.

I have to say that I really struggle to do my brows with powder, so I was really sceptical about the whole concept. Whilst I’m not sure that this will replace my holy grail pencils, it certainly made the world of working with powder a little easier. It certainly takes practise though – it took me two or three attempts before I had a brow with some real definition and not a solid block of colour.

There are four different shades available in this collection: Blonde, Medium Brown, Dark Brown and Black. I have quite dark hair, so I would normally automatically put myself in the ‘Dark Brown’ category. However, due to the pigmentation of this product, I can get away with using the lightest shade. I suspect that a lot of people are going to struggle to find their optimal colour. That being said, I do think this is a clever creation from Rimmel and for £5.99 I think it’s well worth experimenting with!
