The Smooth It Out Detangling Brush* is part of the Phil Smith Be Gorgeous range, exclusively available in Sainsbury's stores nationwide. I've reviewed some bits from the Be Gorgeous range in the past and I think it's a great solution if you need decent hair products, on a very small budget. The range is huge and includes products for all different hair types, so no matter what you need - they will have something for you!
The Smooth It Out Detangling Brush has a black base and is completely filled with bright, multi-coloured zig-zag bristles. The bristles are super thin, but designed to be strong, firm and flexible. This means that the bristles have been designed to glide through any hair type, combing out knots effortlessly, for pain free detangling. The bristles are incredibly gentle on not only the hair, but also the scalp, helping to improve circulation to the hair follicle, by using the bristles to massage from the scalp and down the hair. The bristles bounce back to their original shape and structure every time you stroke the hair, meaning that they reduce hair breakage and pain that can be associated with brushing your hair.
The Smooth It Out Detangling Brush can be used on wet or dry hair, but on my hair I find it more effective on my dry hair, where it breezes through my leftover styling product and knots with ease. It's the perfect bargain buy this winter and will be perfect as we head into summer and start to think about beach-side essentials!
