Let’s start off by saying that I’m the world’s biggest fan of NARS Laguna. It’s absolutely my favourite bronzer and I can’t frankly be without it. That being said, the last TWO compacts I’ve bought, I’ve hit pan on very quickly and they just seem to crumble away too easily. Which not only is the most annoying thing in the world (try cleaning bronzer out of a cream carpet) but it’s also a huge waste of money. So, when I spotted the NARS Cosmetics Sun Wash Diffusing Bronzer, I thought I’d give something different a whirl!
The NARS Cosmetics Sun Wash Diffusing Bronzer comes in four shades: Seaside, Laguna, Casino, and Falaises, so of course I opted for Laguna. As you’d expect, it is a very similar colour and finish as the original NARS Laguna Bronzer, but I would say it’s much less pigmented. It’s been created just to warm the skin, offering a wash of all-over colour, which works very well for contouring. What’s different about this product, is that it’s infused with ‘Soft Blurring Technology’. Meaning that the bronzing powder helps to reduce the appearance of imperfections, delivering a soft-focus finish. What I’ve found is that it offers all the beauty of the original NARS Laguna, but without the high-pigment faff and it’s yet to crumble away!
The NARS Cosmetics Sun Wash Diffusing Bronzer arrives in classic NARS packaging, which really needs no introduction. Instead of the rounded edges that NARS Laguna has, this packaging is completely square, which makes it a little bit easier to spot in my drawers. The top of the powder is finished with a pretty geometric line print, which again makes it feel a little bit different and unique.
The NARS Cosmetics Sun Wash Diffusing Bronzer retails for £29, which is exactly the same price as the original Laguna, but with an all-new bronzer experience. If you haven’t guessed already, I’m a big fan of this beauty and I will definitely repurchase!
