My favourite fragrance from CLEAN Reserve is ‘Rain’ but I’m also a huge fan of Warm Cotton, which I have in the travel size to come around with me on the go. Today however, I wanted to share a scent that’s new to my collection: CLEAN Reserve Velvet Flora*. CLEAN Reserve Velvet Flora is a very sophisticated scent, using bergamot, bright tangerine, exotic saffron, patchouli, and leathery woods, to create something beautiful. CLEAN Reserve’s Senior Perfumer, Steven Claisse, says he was inspired to make this scent “authentic, sophisticated, and sexy”, giving everyone the brightness and confidence, they need.
In this particular scent, the sustainable ingredient is Bergamot Oil, which was sourced directly from Southern Italy. By creating the fragrance, they support the farmers of southern Italy and their commitment to the natural extraction of Bergamot Oil. They are also dedicated to eco-conscious education and committed to the continuous purchase of Bergamot Oil in this region.
As with all their other fragrances, the CLEAN Reserve Velvet Flora is packaged beautifully. It arrives in a hefty white box, which feels beautiful and premium, finished with gorgeous lettering. When you get inside, you find the glass bottle, which is finished with the classic CLEAN Reserve, eco-friendly wooden lid. The colour of this perfume is a slightly yellow-purple hue, which just looks lovely shining through the clear bottle.
The CLEAN Reserve Velvet Flora fragrance is an eau de parfum, priced at £79 for 100ml. It’s a fairly pricey scent, but I can say that these 100ml bottles last for ages and are well worth the investment! The scent is available now at Space NK and Cult Beauty.
