Boost Radiance With The Vichy Idealia Life Serum

I think it’s safe to say that the idea of ‘glowing’ skin isn’t leaving the beauty world anytime soon, especially now as we enter the Spring/Summer season. The strobing trend is still going strong and a great way to really get strobing off to a good start, is to introduce it to your skincare. The Vichy Idealia Life Serumfocuses on infusing radiance back into the skin. This makes it the perfect fit for anyone who suffers with skin that looks stressed and unbalanced.

What I really love about the Vichy Idealia Life Serum is that it's designed to be that universal treatment for all types of skin. It's designed to repair and restore the radiance in our skin, particularly when skin has been "abused" by the sun, pollution, a poor diet or stress. It's a product description that really struck a cord with me and I actually think it's something that a lot of women can relate to. Vichy say that when are skin is feeling the stress of other aspects of life, it can not only make us look older, but it can also show in a lot of other ways. For example, our skin can start use it's colour, it can look grey all over, but also cause uneven colouring. It can also cause oiliness or dryness, as well as enlarged pores.

With all this in mind the Vichy Idealia Life Serum aims to "perform a global action", combining lots of great ingredients with an illuminating glow, made from golden and red pearls. When you write about skincare a lot, you come across lots of ingredients time and time again, but the ingredients in the Vichy Idealia Life Serum are not ones I've seen before. The serum is made up with a combination of LR2412 (which speeds up epidermal repair, making it easier for the skin to protect itself) and LHA (which stimulates cell repair, to exfoliate and allow the skin to reflect light). Like lots of other Vichy products, the serum includes the Vichy Thermal Spa Water, which is a simple ingredient suitable for sensitive skin.

You can tell that this serum is different, as it's unlike any that I've tried in the past. First of all, it's really quite thick in texture - when you pump it onto your hand, it looks much more like a moisturiser than a cream. It's also completely white and opaque, which adds to the moisturiser feel. However when you apply it to the skin, it definitely feels and acts like a serum, it soaks into the skin and it immediately feels more plump and radiant.

I’ve tried a couple of serums from Vichy and I’m yet to be disappointed! The Vichy Idealia Life Serum is pricier than a lot of other serums on the market, but I absolutely love it. It’s not greasy, it’s very light and it gives your skin a beautiful glowing finish, which is a perfect base for makeup. Normally I opt for a simply hydrating serum, but I love the added benefits that this gives my skin.
