Gifts For Him | Huge Christmas Gift Guide

Christmas officially started here on Hope, Freedom, Love last month! Since November 15th I've been sharing the best gifts, releases, giveaways, and it's not over yet!  This year I've got a whole host of gifts that I'm going to be reviewing for you. So if you're looking for the perfect gift you're in the right place! On Wednesday I shared my giant Christmas Gift Guide for the ladies in your life. Today it's time for the gents to have their spotlight!

I hate buying for the guys, I find girls so easy, but the men is a whole other ballgame! I think men are often cut a bit of a rough deal, if you don't have a particular "niche" you tend to be forgotten about. Nevertheless, here are a couple of gifts I've found recently, which I think would be winners with the man in your life.

BEAUTY
Secretly, I like to think that men love a beauty gift just as much as us girls, even if they won't admit it, or they want to keep it a secret. Here are my top picks for beauty themed gifts for the men!

What I love about Bulldog Skincare For Men, is that they make award-winning skincare products that are purpose-built for men, using natural ingredients, without charging a fortune! Their range of ethical products is now available in 14 countries and over 12,000 stores worldwide. Bulldog products are body-friendly and don’t contain parabens, artificial colours, or synthetic fragrances. I think a lot of men will appreciate this no nonsense approach, so I've picked out two fabulous gifts at two price points.

The ‘Man Up’ Money Tin* (£6 here) is a really nice, limited edition money tin. Inside the tin there is a tube of Bulldog’s award winning Sensitive Moisturiser. I love that it's only £6, so it would make a great stocking filler, or a lovely Secret Santa Gift. The ‘Man’s Best Friend’ Duo Set* (£10 from Sainsbury’s & Tesco) also comes packaged in a tin, but inside this time is the Bulldog Original Face Wash and Original Moisturiser. I love that the tin can be used afterwards for all kinds of things.

NIVEA is a brand I turn to every single year for lots of my Christmas shopping (I actually have four different sets to buy for various people). I think the NIVEA MEN Wash Kit Gift Set* (£12 here) is a great set, as it has some great products and looks a lot more pricey than it actually is! Inside a swish black wash bag, you get the Active Clean Shower Gel, Invisible for Black & White Deodorant and the famous NIVEA Creme.

If you're looking for a luxury skincare gift, I highly recommend the Ultimate Finish Set from ESPA (£38 here). Inside the paint pot, you get the everyday essentials you need to cleanse, clarify and moisturise. The products all aim to leave you with soothed, smoothed and energised skin all day. There is the Invigorating Facewash, the Dual Action ShaveMud and The Hydrator. There's even a ESPA Screwdriver, very cute and very clever - well done ESPA.

If you're looking for a hair themed gift, one of the best gifts I've seen this year is the label.men Grooming Kit (£22 here) which includes three cleansing/styling products and a fancy washbag. You get the Scalp Purifying Shampoo, the Grooming Cream and the Deconstructor.

I actually bought Chris the BaByliss iStubble Beard Trimmer (£32.99 here) at least three years ago now and it's still a religious part of his routine. He's never been someone who likes to be clean shaven, but the BaByliss iStubble allows him to trim his beard with military precision. You simply pick the length on the screen, it electronically adjusts the blades and you shave! It's so simple and it makes him a very happy beard owner!

LIFESTYLE

Incase your man really isn't into beauty of any kind, I've also prepared a few lifestyle gift ideas.

If you're looking for some clothing gifts, I personally think that New Look is a really great place to start. They have a fabulous range of ladies clothing, but they also make some really great pieces for the men too. I always like to browse they range of novelty socks, like these Groovy Penguin ones, which are only £2.99 a pair (here). I also have to give a mention that their onesies and PJs, as they are fabulous too!

A great practical present has to be a pair of touch-screen friendly gloves (£5 here). This pair are going to a man in our family who works outside a lot, so he needs to keep his hands warm, but is also addicted to his iPhone. There are tons of places that you can get these nowadays, but I actually picked this pair up from Superdrug. They are only £5 and I like that they come in a nice box, which also makes them really easy to wrap (always a winner in my eyes).

Karting is such a good gift, it's one of Chris' favourite things to do! At Red Rush Vouchers you can get a full safety briefing, suits/helmets, a minimum of 30 minutes racing and print outs of your lap times, all for £50. I've actually teamed up with Red Rush Vouchers to give you 10% off their karting package, all you have to do is enter HFL10AG at the checkout. Enjoy 10% OFF Karting Experiences PLUS FREE Glossy Gift Box PLUS FREE Delivery!  Click here to take advantage of this fabulous deal!

Maybe your man is more of a football fan? If that is the case, you have to buy him this super cute gift from Superdrug. It's called 'Bath Football' (£5 here) and it's equipped with a floating penalty spot, football and net! It's just a very silly gift, but I think it's very clever and a bargain for £5!

I always like to add in a bracelet to Chris' pile of presents at Christmas time. I think it's something that your man can get use out of all year round, a little something to remind him of you. I love this Black Spot Steel Men's Bracelet from Beaverbrooks (£59 here). It's simple but it still looks smart whatever the occasion. If you want something a little more budget friendly, I always pick out a few things from ASOS. One of my favourites this year is the Blue Rope Bracelet (£5 here) but there are tons to choose from on the ASOS website.

The premise of My Geek Box* (£17.99 here) is really quite simple, dubbed to be the "coolest subscription box out there'. It's a mystery box filled with "geek gear" sent directly to your doorstep once a month. Each month has a theme, which can be anything from superheroes, to cartoon megastars. Every single box comes with a limited edition t-shirt, which comes in the size you choose at the start of your subscription. I love that the items are so varied, I'm sure that no matter what your interests, there's something in this box that you would love. I honestly think My Geek Box would make a great present for any geek in your life, it only costs £17.99 and you have the option to sign up for one off boxes or longer subscriptions (which come in three, six and twelve month options).

If you've got any genius gift ideas, I'd love to hear them! I still have a lot of shopping to do for the men in my life!
