Peel-Off Polish from Little Ondine

For me, Little Odine was one of those brands that seemed to appear from nowhere – bursting onto the scene a couple of years ago, featuring in beauty boxes all over the place! They actually launched in April 2015, right here in the UK & Europe. Their main goal was to create a new kind of nail brand - offering an innovative, practical, stylish and toxin-free nail colour. Same old right? Well actually, this brand wanted to create a peel-off polish formula, which would just peel away when you’re bored without damaging the nail. They say, it’s been created for the girl who wants to change her nail colour, as often as changing her shoes!

All you have to do is use the special base coat, followed by the special polish, which comes in LOADS in different colour options. In fact, there are over 90 shades to be exact, with new colours being added all the time. The shades also include glitter shades, which everyone knows can be a right pain to remove. Then whenever you’re ready, you simply peel off the polish, without the need for acetone or any other chemical! Now I have to be honest, nail polish rarely stays on my nails - so unless it’s a gel manicure, it’s bound to peel off my nails in a matter of hours. I do know that I am a rarity though and I hear from plenty of people who really battle to get manicures off – especially when it comes to glitter polish!

However, just in case you are like me and you’re not sold by the peel-off formulation! There are actually more exciting benefits! First up the formulation is completely toxin-free and water-based, which in turn means that the formula is completely odourless! How many times have you wanted to paint your nails on a train, or in the office, but have been worried about bothering those around you?! Not anymore! The polishes are also cruelty-free and vegan-friendly, which has won them a whole host of ‘free-from’ beauty awards, amongst many other awards that are cluttering their cabinet.

The natural feel to the polishes also comes through in their packaging! I love these innovative boxes which actually fold out, instead of having a lid that you have to pop up. Sure there is nothing wrong with a standard box, but I love this just feels a little bit special. All the instructions and everything you need, is printed on the inside of the box, which is perfect, if like me, you always lose instruction manuals! All the lovely Little Odine shades can be purchased from their website and lots of other beauty retails, such as QVC – each shade is priced at £11.
