This year ESPA are celebrating their 25th Birthday – 25 magical years of natural beauty and inner calm. Naturally, ESPA are having a little bit of a celebration, with some lovely limited-edition skincare collections. I’ve been lucky enough to be sent The Optimal Skin Collection, which is a range of products that work to nourish, balance and restore radiance. The collection arrives in lovely silver box, which has been finished with a simple sleeve which details the products inside. I’m still obsessed with the new ESPA branding, it’s just so sleek and swish! When you pop open the box you will find the Optimal Skin ProCleanser (100ml), a 30ml Optimal Skin ProSerum (which is ESPA’s best-selling product, selling one product every 30 minutes around the world) and finally the Optimal Skin ProMoisturiser (55ml). In celebration of the 25th ESPA Birthday, the amazing ESPA team have given me my favourite ESPA products to give away to you guys! It’s pretty hard to choose a favourite ESPA product, so in the end, I opted for two: the Purifying Micellar Cleanser* and the Naturally Radiant Tinted Moisturiser With SPF*. They both get my “favourite product crown” because they are both exceptional products.
The ESPA Purifying Micellar Cleanser is packed with plant actives and essential oils, creating a non-rinse cleanser. Unlike some of the other micellars on the market, this swiftly removes your makeup whilst still leaving your skin feeling conditioned and soft! The formulation is 99% natural, with the micelles being blended with coconut and sugar-derived cleansers, which remove impurities and make-up without rubbing. The Micellar Water has a handy pump dispenser, which means you can control exactly how much product you need. If I compare this formula to others on the market, it feels special. It does not feel just like water, in fact it feels thicker and you can definitely feel the addition of the essential oils in the formula. It’s the perfect way to up the ante for your micellar water cleanse!
My second favourite product completely changed my perception of tinted moisturisers. Until I tried this I thought they all had zero coverage and just slipped around the face. The ESPA Naturally Radiant Tinted Moisturiser With SPF*, completely evens out the complexion, covering all pigmentation and red marks on the skin. It builds beautifully, so if there is an area where you need a little bit of extra help, you can add a second layer for a bit more coverage. What I love about this particular tinted moisturiser is that it leaves your skin glowing, without a hint of grease in sight! I use this at weekends and even busy work days and it never lets me down!
