DKNY Nectar Love | Be Irresistible

I have a bit of a confession to make – despite the fact DKNY was founded 1989, I’m pretty sure I’ve never tried a DKNY fragrance. I know what you’re thinking, how have I spent the last twenty odd years avoiding the famous apple shaped fragrance? I don’t know either, but it’s 100% true! So, I was really excited to get the chance to try the latest fragrance and finally see what all the fuss was about! The latest fragrance from DKNY is called Nectar Love* and DKNY say it has been designed to capture that moment that “eyes meet and the whole world stops”. Let’s take a closer look…

This summer DKNY have yet again reimagined their famous (and iconic apple) – this time in a new sleek silhouette, which is just utterly gorgeous. Designed to capture love at first sight, DKNY chose to use a bee in the campaign, as bees are too captivated by the irresistible draw to a lush blooming flower. Each bottle of Nectar Love features a warm yellow fragrance, which is finished with a gold shiny lid. On the bigger bottles, a proud bee sits on the lid and on the smaller bottles, there is a cute graphic embossed bee, which just brings the whole story to life.

Of course, pretty packaging is just one side of the story – what we really need is a great fragrance to match and the DKNY Nectar Love scent doesn’t disappoint! DKNY describe it as a “floral fruity gourmand that delivers an addictive dose of attraction”. Put simply, the top notes include: Yellow Freesia, Mandarin, Grapefruit, Nectarine and Solar Salicylates. The middle is a blend of: Jasmine, Muguet, Orange Flower and Mirabelle. Whilst the end is a blend of Cedarwood, Vanilla, Musk, Beeswax and Neroli Co-distillate. So, it’s a beautiful bright, juicy, fresh scent all round – creating a blooming pretty fragrance.

The DKNY Nectar Love fragrance* has already launched so you can get your hands on it right now! It is available exclusively at The Perfume Shop, priced at £74 for 100ml, at £55 for 50ml and at £40 for 30ml.
