The Perfumes That Bring Colour to Life | AURA-SOMA

In recent months my perfume drawer has quadrupled in size. I used to be a 2/3-fragrance girl and now it’s a little bit out of control. I’ve just fallen in love with the idea of switching up my fragrance depending on the occasion and my mood. I was recently given the opportunity to test the AURA-SOMA Parfum Range*. The AURA-SOMA Parfum’s come in a variety of scents, which are all named by a number. There are eight in total (11, 30, 39, 44, 56, 58, 75 and 80) which are all created using only natural and organic essential oils extracted from plants and flowers.

The range of AURA-SOMA Parfum’s aim to create a beautiful aroma, which in turn lifts spirits and makes us feel happier. Their philosophy is all about stripping perfumery back to how it was in the 1880s. Creating perfumes using only natural materials, which haven’t been spoilt by the synthetic ingredients we have in the modern world.

They play on the idea of colour, matching the colour of the perfume bottle to the feel of the perfume. Therefore, the AURA-SOMA Parfum Range is made only using the purest natural and organic essential oils. They are guaranteed to be free from petrochemicals, synthetic fragrances and preservatives, so you can be sure that you are wearing a natural perfume.

What I love about these perfumes is that they are all so different. Parfum 11 is a beautiful light fragrance, which is subtle and simple. It comes packaged in a pretty light pink bottle and features notes of Lemon, Bergamot, Neroli, Rose and Vetivert. Parfum 44 is a more woody scent, packaged in a blue-purple bottle. Inside there is notes of Orris, Cedar Wood, Violet and Precious Woods. Parfum 58 is a stunning floral scent which is brought to life by a citrus hit. The notes include Bergamot, Lime, Geranium, Basil, Lavender, Black Pepper, Rose, Sandalwood and Vetivert.
