The Born This Way Foundation* by Too Faced has been on my ‘to-try’ list for ages, as it gets some pretty impressive reviews on the bloggersphere. Too Faced describe the Born This Way Foundation as an ‘undetectable medium-to-full coverage foundation’, made to give you ultimate confidence in your own skin.
The Born This Way Foundation is an oil-free formulation, which has been created to diffuse the line between makeup and skin. This means that it gives a beautiful coverage on the skin, which is hard to see, but still gives you a radiant flawless finish. Whether you’re covering uneven skin tone, blemishes or a variety of other imperfection, the Born This Way Foundation has you covered! The formula (as you’d probably expect) is a lot thicker than normal foundations and a little bit goes a long way. I just take a little pump on my beautyblender sponge and dab it over my complexion.
Not only is the formulation of the Born This Way Foundation beautiful, but it’s also made up of some really beautiful ingredient. The line-up includes Coconut Water (which is awesome at replenishing water levels in the skin) and Alpine Rose (which is a lovely brightening ingredient for boosting radiance) and finally we have Hyaluronic Acid (which we all know is great for getting moisture in the skin). The dynamic trio bring lovely properties and offer a smoother, more youthful appearance
The Born This Way Foundation has been available for quite a while, but the Too Faced team recently increased the shade range by six shades, taking the total to 24 different shades, in a variety of skin tones. The shades go all the way from a porcelain ‘Swan’ up to a beautiful ‘Cocoa’, so I would hope that there is something for everyone!
Too Faced stockists have increased a lot over recent years, so you can pick up the Born This Way Foundation from Selfridges, Cult Beauty, Debenhams or the Too Faced Carnaby Store. It retails for £29, so it’s on the premium end of the foundation spectrum, but it’s a really beautiful product!
