Three weeks ago I had never heard of Formula 10.0.6, however, since these two products arrived in my life, I’ve been nothing short of impressed. Formula 10.0.6 was founded by a chemist back in 1933, since then, the skincare brand has been using natural ingredients to create the perfect routine for your skin. The range is filled with masks, cleansing and moisturising creams – so whatever space you have in your line-up, this brand is for you! Each of the products has been formulated to create balance, clear the skin and create a healthy glow. Let’s take a closer look at some of the products I’ve been testing…
The first thing that caught my eye in the Formula 10.0.6 range is the packaging! There was something effortlessly cool about the look and feel of the products. They all make use of bright colourways and cool typography, which definitely stands out on the sometimes-boring drugstore shelves.
Formula 10.0.6 Totally Clean Deep Pore Cleanser* (£8.99 for 200ml)
The Totally Clean Deep Pore Cleanser is specially made for those of us who struggle with blemished, breakout-prone skin. It’s designed to wipe away dirt, oil and impurities, leaving the pores clear and refreshed. It’s also infused with ingredients which gently exfoliate the skin, which leaves the skin looking both clear and healthy. The Totally Clean Deep Pore Cleanser is safe enough for daily use, so once a day I’ve been taking it on a cotton pad and wiping it over the face and neck. It’s the perfect second cleanse, especially if you’ve been wearing a lot of makeup. It’s a lovely cleanser-toner hydrid, which is a total bargain for £8.99!
Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure Skin-Clarifying Mask* (£8.99 for 100ml)
I really do love a face mask, so when I saw this in the envelope, I was super excited to give it a whirl! Once again the Pores Be Pure Skin-Clarifying Mask has been created for congested skin, filled with berry-boosters which get straight to work. The ingredients include Strawberry and Rosemary (which are fabulous at eliminating impurities) and Yarrow (which is great at clarifying the skin for “instant complexion perfection”). It’s still an incredibly gentle mask, which means you can use it between one and three times a week. Simply cleanse the skin and then apply a thin coat all over the face and neck. Leave it to dry for 15 minutes before gently removing with warm water.
I’d love to know if you’ve tried anything from Formula 10.0.6? If so, what products do you recommend?
