This year, KIKO MILANO is celebrating their 20th anniversary. To celebrate their anniversary, they have joined forces with seven international brands, which have been created by young and up-and-coming designers. The fifth capsule collection is called ‘Asian Touch’ and is a collaboration with Serafina Sama, the young designer behind the label Isa Arfen. As you’ve probably guessed, the collection is inspired by the charm of far eastern beauty. Today I wanted to show you some of the products in the collection!
Asian Touch Matte Liquid Lipstick* (£7.95)
You’d be forgiven for thinking that these are nail polishes, but they are in fact liquid lipsticks! The packaging is absolutely gorgeous, featuring a long handle and a pretty glass bottle. As you can see the bottom of the lipstick is clear, which lets the colour of the lipstick shine through. Inside you’ll find an ultra-matte liquid lipstick, with a really intense pigmentation. I have two of the shades here, but there are actually three shades in the collection: 01 Plushy Red, 02 Silky Burgundy and 03 Velvety Black.
Asian Touch Lip Pencil* (£5.95) and Asian Touch Eye Pencil* (£5.95)
I absolutely love the packaging of these pencils in the Asian Touch collection. They have glorious long thin handles, which look so impressive and totally fit the theme of the collection. The Asian Touch Lip Pencils have a full colour effect, which allows you to get a really precise outline. They are available in three different shades, 01 Plushy Red, 02 Silky Burgundy 03 Velvety Black. The Asian Touch Eye Pencils have been designed to be used both on the outer and inner eye, again available in three shades 01 Traditional Beige, 02 Oriental Bordeaux and 03 Ancient Black.
Asian Touch Perfecting Sheet Mask* (£3.95)
The last product in the collection that I have is the Asian Touch Perfecting Sheet Mask. It arrives in a cream package, which has an Asian-inspired illustration on the outside of the pack. Inside you find a face mask which is made with 100% natural fabric extracted from bamboo. The unique texture is unlike anything I’ve tried before and is inspired by Asian rituals, providing a blissful experience for perfect skin.
The Asian Touch Capsule Collection actually launched in September, but luckily there are still some products left to get your hands on (they normally sell out very quickly). Shop the collection in all KIKO MILANO stores and online on the KIKO website.
