Mascara So Good It Should Be Illegal? | Urban Decay Troublemaker

Urban Decay never struggles to demand attention and when their new Troublemaker Mascara* launched, that’s exactly what happened. The Troublemaker Mascara is a brand-new addition to the Urban Decay brand and the packaging really caught everyone’s eye. However, is it so good that it should be illegal as Urban Decay pitch? Keep reading to find out!

Urban Decay say that Troublemaker Mascara is all about creating a product that is your new “go-to”. It’s made to last and look great even after a day in the office, a night on the town, or even a day in the saunas. It’s been created to layer on, so that you can pile on the coats, without clumping or flaking off the lashes. Meaning that you can always create the drama you desire! Urban Decay are really proud of the innovation pumped into the mascara! It uses two different types of black pigments, which gives the formula a really black finish. It’s also infused with a combination of hollow silica to volumize without weighing down your lashes. Finally, a combination of Vitamin E and panthenol work to nourish and condition, which keeps the formula malleable and stops it from flaking.

The packaging of course deserves a special mention, featuring a double-walled, faceted tube, which is finished in a prismatic finish. It’s a fabulous monochrome colour scheme which is really impressive and feels really special. The brush inside is completely custom to the Troublemaker Mascara, acting as a comb to separate the lashes. The brush is full of little precision hooks, which grab lashes to pull the product through and it allows you to reach every little lash.

So, what do I think of the Troublemaker mascara? Well I have to say that the Troublemaker Mascara does exactly what it says on the tin, it’s not a mascara that gives you instant false-lash-effect lashes. Instead it gives you the option to use one mascara, no matter the occasion. In one coat, you get natural looking lashes, that are volumize and lengthened. You can keep building as you see fit, all the way up to a finish that is a bit more dramatic. I personally like a really dramatic lash and I want to achieve it quickly, so three coats for me at 6AM in the dark, doesn’t really fit my lifestyle. However, that being said, at the weekends, with time on my side, I’m a big fan of this idea!

The Troublemaker Mascara is available now, both in a full size, but also an on-the-go size, which is perfect for travel!
