There’s something really special about adding a new fragrance to your collection. Fragrance isn’t something I tend to treat myself to, so when I have something new to try, it always feels super exciting. The GHOST brand is well known for their pretty scents, which don’t break the bank and this new one doesn’t disappoint! Let’s take a closer look…
GHOST DREAM is a captivating and mysterious scent, which GHOST say has been created for women who want to embrace their femininity and independence. The campaign is fronted by Malaika Firth, a Kenyan-born British fashion model. The mysterious theme starts from the minute you get the fragrance in your hand. GHOST say that GHOST DREAM is light and complex, just like the pink clouds of a hazy sunset – which is actually printed on the front of the white cardboard box.
Inside the white, cloudy box you find the bottle of the fragrance, which is really quite special. The bottle has been designed to look like a little gem, finished with lots of geometric edges – which is very different for the GHOST line of fragrances. Normally I find fragrance bottles really hard to photograph, but there is something so effortless about this one, as it just reflects the light perfectly. I love the shades of purple and blue within the bottle and I think it’s beautifully finished by the stunning rose cap.
The scent is a floral scent, which has top notes of Rose Essential and Aquaflora. The heart of the fragrance includes Violet, Heliotrope, Moroccan Orange Flower and Egyptian Jasmine. The base is lovely and woody, with scents of Ambroxan, Musks and Patchouli, which is a really nice edge to the scent. GHOST DREAM is available now right now nationwide from Superdrug, Boots and the Perfume Shop (prices start at £27 for 30ml).
