The full body care range has been created with a rich source of magnesium and antioxidants. Together these ingredients help your cells to detox, which in turn then revitalises and reenergises the skin. As well as magnesium, the products have a rich source of sea kelp and seaweed. This particular seaweed is fantastic at fighting fatigue, stress and pollution – it’s been used in West Ireland bathing routines for centuries, so REN wanted to bring them into the 21st century in their new product line.
By giving the body a boost of magnesium and other trace elements, we help the skin to support the energy levels of our cells. This means that we become better at releasing toxins, waste and heavy metals from the skin, meaning that we regain the energy we need for keeping our body functioning healthily. In short, we flood our cells with oxygen, which in turn has a positive effect on our daily energy levels. I’ve been really lucky to be testing two of the products from this new range – the Atlantic Kelp and Magnesium Energising Hand Wash* and the Atlantic Kelp and Magnesium Energising Hand Lotion*.
Both the products arrive in the classic REN packaging, featuring large clear bottles with handy pumps to dispense the product. The clear bottles are finished with a white label, featuring simple typography and a blue colour scheme – which happens to fit perfectly into my bathroom colour scheme! The Atlantic Kelp and Magnesium Energising Hand Wash (£16 for 300ml) is a very gentle hand cleanser, which cleanses whilst still looking after our delicate skin on our hands. The Atlantic Kelp and Magnesium Energising Hand Lotion (£18 for 300ml) is a really lovely, light and fresh body lotion, which keeps the skin hydrated, without feeling greasy.
