Garnier Bring SPF Face Mist To The High Street

Garnier Ambre Solaire are a household name when it comes to suncare and their products dominate a lot of shelves, be it in the supermarket, the pharmacy or in people’s homes. It’s with good reason too, as since 1935 they’ve been known as the “expert brand” in sun protection. You’d be hard pushed to find a family who hasn’t used their products and I know that people all over the country flock to buy their products when the sun comes out. They are that tried and tested brand, that you just know you can trust, thanks to their glowing reputation. Therefore it’s no surprise that the beauty world went a little crazy for their latest release: Garnier Ambre Solaire launches Sensitive Advanced Protecting and Hydrating Face Mist*. Crazy long name aside, the product brought the face mist trend to the highstreet and the world is very happy about it! 

The Protecting and Hydrating Face Mist is a lightweight formulation which offers both UVA and UVB protection, paired with an SPF50, which can be applied OVER makeup. The release comes paired with a plea from the Garnier team to ensure we’re taking the appropriate steps to protect our face from the sun. It’s designed to fit into any handbag (or rucksack), meaning that you’ll never be caught off-guard in the ever-changing British summertime. It’s pitched as the “ultimate in offers city girl protection” but I honestly think it fits everyone, whether you’re male, female, city-based or out in the countryside – it’s a fabulous all-rounder! 

If you’re someone who normally complains of SPF feeling greasy or sticky, this formulation is for you. You simply spritz it on, let it soak in (which takes about 10 seconds) and you’re good to go. The lightweight formula will protect you from burning and damage, both under and over makeup. It also has a boost of lovely ingredients, which can offer up to 24-hours of hydration. I’ve used this in Fuerteventura, Texas and the UK and I’ve been really impressed with the results. It’s left my skin looking and feeling great, without a red burn in sight!
