butter LONDON was founded back in 2005 when a beauty-obsessed British entrepreneur (Sasha Muir) and a premier fashion manicurist (Nonie Creme), catapulted butter LONDON onto the runway. Sasha had a dream to create a refreshingly hip and haute nail brand, which had the air of fashion sense. The new approach and the exciting formulation meant that butter LONDON quickly became the first world-renowned, high-fashion 3-free nail lacquer brand. Today butter LONDON is well loved by beauty obsessives, who love their beautiful colours and formulations that actually leave our skin in good condition. Today I’m really excited to bring you a butter LONDON brand focus, with the products that you really need to write home about.
Let’s start with the butter LONDON Trend Nail Lacquer* (£12 each) which is available in a whopping 38 shades. The Trend Nail Lacquer was created for the catwalk – all thanks to the high pigmentation and the high shine finish, which resists chips. The formula boasts an ‘8-free’ formula, which keeps all the nasties (Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, DBP, Toluene, Camphore, Ethy Tosylamide, Xylene, TPHP) out of our nail polish. They are also enriched with Hydrolyzed Silk, Horsetail Extract, plus Vitamins B, C and E - which help to promote nail strength.
The butter LONDON Patent Shine 10X Nail Lacquers* (£15 each) was the next advancement from butter LONDON and is available in 30 shades. These were a commitment to creating safe and effective nail polish, which offers 10 incredible features. The product promises to offer up to 10 days of wear, which is chip and shock resistance, all in a gel-like formulation. An even colour coverage thanks to its curved, dense brush, which is resistant to fading over time. It is enriched with Bamboo Extract (to help protect nails and defend against damage), Silk Amino Acids (to help smooth the surface of nails), plus horse tail extract and calcium (which work to strength the nails). The colours are even enriched with Diamond Powder to instantly brighten nails and of course have butter LONDON’s famous 8-Free Formula.
As well as nail colour, butter LONDON also create a range of treatments which are celebrated for astounding results without compromise. All of the treatments have recently been repackaged, so they look better than ever! I’ve been testing the P.D Quick Dry Conditioning Drops* (£15) which work to dry your nails as quickly as possible. It does this by using an innovative dry oil serum, which protects against smudges. As you can guess, the ingredients are lovely and include Rose Hip Seed Oil, which conditions cuticles for a healthy looking manicure.
The Patent-Gel Top & Tails Set* (£32) is butter LONDON’s answer to making your manicure really last. They have created the Patent-Gel Top & Tails Set to give you a patent-leather shine, without harmful ingredients or UV lamps that you need in a gel manicure. Simply use the top coat and base coat to protect your nails from nicks and chips – it even locks in colour for a long lasting manicure. Of course, as it’s made by butter LONDON, it is a 8-free formulation, but it is enriched with Vitamins E, A, C & B5 to strengthen and protect nails.
So there you have it, lots of lovely butter LONDON products which I’ve been loving trying over the last few weeks. These are only a small collection of what they have in offer, so if you like them, I highly recommend checking them out. You can shop butter LONDON at Marks and Spencer, Look Fantastic, Beauty Bay and Amazon. I’d love to know in the comments below which product you’d consider trying first!
