If you’re beauty buff looking to spend some serious dollar, you’ll find everything you need right in one place. Now they even have the most extraordinary, abnormal company of them all – DECIEM.
When I was invited to check out the DECIEM store with the rest of the ReallyRee gang, it is safe to say I was excited. DECIEM have such a special place in my heart, as they were the first brand I ever worked with and I’ve been dying to see their store in the flesh! As a side line before I give you the low down on the store, we had the pleasure of meeting Co-CEO Nicola! It has to be said that she is just the most inspirational, lovely woman! The ultimate girl boss!
Okay, back to the gorgeous store! Although the doors to DECIEM's first London store have been open a little while now, the shop still has that exciting new feel. The store is set in the most treasured parts of the city, Old Spitalfields Market, right in the heart of the hustle and bustle of East London. Brandon Truaxe (DECIEM Founder) says that Old Spitalfields Market is one of the only places he’s ever experienced “love at first sight”, making it such a wonderful fit her their first store. The exciting news this week is that DECIEM are about to open their doors to their second store, this time in another incredible and historical place – Covent Garden. This means that there will soon be two wonderful places in London to experience DECIEM in the flesh, both in awesome beauty destinations.
The two DECIEM stores allow you to see all the DECIEM brands in one pretty, humble space and it’s safe to say it brings a lot of people through the door! Not only can you swatch the infamous foundations from The Ordinary, but you can also shop the rest of the brands too! With products available from NIOD, The Ordinary, Hylamide, FOUNTAIN, The Chemistry Brand, HIF, Stemm, AB CREW and White RX.
One thing I was super happy to see was some super awesome, knowledgeable staff! Not only are these guys friendly, kind and approachable – they also really know their stuff – and I mean REALLY know their stuff! In order to get “store ready” all the staff come down to London and get training in the DECIEM office. The training is a mixture of demoing the products, teaching about ingredients but also first-hand research, which really helps them to build up their knowledge. Many of the team are actually experienced in the beauty retail industry and an interest in skincare, science and ingredients is an absolute must! This means that you can rock up to the store and simply give the team your skin concerns - they’ll have you set up with a wonderful, effective routine in minutes!
The DECIEM store is constantly being refreshed, bringing the latest innovations to the store, so there are plenty of reasons to keep going back!
