I picked up the Japonesque Velvet Touch Blush early this year, after Fleur de Force featured it in her 2013 favourites. I hadn't even heard anything about it before then and I don't think I'm the only one. I don't think that the Japonesque beauty line has had an awful lot of press, everyone knows about the brushes, but do you know about the makeup?
The Japonesque makeup line comes in a very boring black and white box but when you open the box you find something very different. This beautiful black sleek packaging is topped with a stunning coloured gel, the colour is created on each one individually so no two are the same. You get something unique.
This is the Japonesque Velvet Touch Blush in shade 3 and it's beautiful light pink colour. The blushers are designed to add a radiant glow with a subtle cheek colour and it does exactly that. The pigmentation is quite light and it's easily buildable to get the perfect look that you are looking for. You can add a little bit for a slight highlight or go the whole hog and have a bright blusher shade. It's so beautiful and so easy to work with!
These blushers come in a whole host of colours, so if this one doesn't do it for you, check out the other colours. You can pick them up in John Lewis or at BeautyBay.
